Hi! We're Jenny and Alex, the family behind Move In Metro.
We've called Detroit home since 2013, and over the years we've built a collection of homes across Metro Detroit for people who need a comfortable place to land.
We're not a big corporate housing company. We're a local, family-run business, and we're personally involved in the homes we offer, from renovations and maintenance to helping guests settle in.
We're also travelers ourselves. Our adventures across Asia, Europe and beyond have shaped how we think about hospitality: the difference between somewhere to sleep and a place that feels like home.
Finding a place to stay isn't just about having a roof over your head. Whether you're relocating, working on a temporary assignment, visiting family, or figuring out your next chapter, a comfortable home base can make all the difference.
Our homes range from furnished apartments to entire houses. Some guests stay a few weeks, others stay for months or longer. We welcome people from all walks of life and aim to make every stay straightforward, comfortable and flexible.
What we enjoy most is the human side of this business. Over the years we've welcomed people from around the country and around the world, and many of those encounters have become memorable parts of our own lives.
